25, 2003; Seymour, WI - N.E.W. DIRT is getting ready for
their 20th season to get underway, this Sunday, April 27th. The Seymour Tri-Oval Raceway
will host an open practice and test session from 11 am to 2 pm. Cars will be put on the track by division, 5 or 6 at a time the number of laps will be determined by the number of cars on hand. Grandstand will be open free of charge for the practice. Following the practice session. the track will set up for the Spring Opener 200 4 cylinder Enduro which will start at 3 PM. It will be a 200 lap or 2 hour event. Entry fee is $50 for car and driver, regular pit pass for others. ALL cars must be inspected BEFORE the green flag drops. Drivers meeting will be at 2:30pm. Grandstand admission will be $7.00 for adults. The regular racing season gets underway next Sunday, May 4 and will feature five divisions. IMCA Mods, WISSOTA Late Models, Street Stocks, IMCA Stock Cars and 4 bangers which will make up the weekly shows. NOTE: RACING WILL START AT 6 PM ON SUNDAY NIGHTS. This is a change from previous years. |
