June
27, 2004; Seymour, WI - You know it had to be Sunday. At 4:30
a light drizzle started, and at 5:15 N.E.W. DIRT was forced to cancel their 4th program of
the year when the rain became steady and the radar showed at least a 2 hour rain.
The pit area was already nearly full and the Vintage Modified Stock Car club had 7
machines on display behind the grandstand. They were also set for a race during the
program.
They will be re-scheduled for the last half of the season.
This next Sunday, July 4th, will be a full regular program with all 5 divisions in action.
The Fly Me Flag Company of Green Bay will be presenting small American flags to the fans
as they enter next week. The popular 4 cylinder Bump and Run race will close the program
next week. |
