Seymour Plans Labor Day Double!

Seymour, WI - N.E.W. DIRT is setting up for the end of the
2004 season with three more races on the schedule. Next week, August 29, will be a full 5
division program with the two IMCA Divisions running their final point nights of the
season, because IMCA starts the Nationals in Boone on Monday the following week.
Labor Day weekend will be a big double header weekend, the first ever run at Seymour.
Sunday night, September 5th will be the final regular program of the season.
The WISSOTA Late Models, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders will run their final point night of
the year. The Mods and Stock Cars will also compete, but in a non sanctioned night, with
NO claims.
Then, racing returns the next night, Labor Day, Monday, September 6th.
N.E.W. DIRT will present the Tri Oval Changeover. The track is scheduled to be changed
to an oval after this season, and this will be the final time to see the exciting action
on the unique Tri Oval that has been part of the clubs programs since 1988.
The WDLMA late models will be here to help close the season. They will run a 30 lap
feature event. The Mods, Stock Cars, Streets and 4 Cylinders will also be part of the big
$20,000 show, but will be non-sanctioned races with NO claims.
Pit gates will open at 2 PM with the draw cut off at 4 PM. Drivers meeting at 4 with
racing at 5PM. There is NO entry fee, just regular pit pass fees will be charged.
Grandstand admission for the Monday show will be $12.00 for adults, $8.00 for students
and seniors with kids 12 and under FREE with an adult. However, Drivers are selling
advanced tickets for this show, which will get you in for $10.00. Drivers can earn FREE
pit passes for Monday for every 10 that they sell. Advance tickets will be available until
August 29th, so talk to your favorite driver soon.
Also, if you attend the Sunday night, September 5th program, and bring your
rain stub on Monday night, you can also save $2.00 on the adult admission.
Grandstand will open at 3:30. Special note, the start time for Monday will be 5 PM.
Raindate for the special race will be Sunday, September 12 at 5 PM.
Three big races remain on the 2004 schedule at the Seymour Tri Oval Raceway over the
