February 16, 2005; Seymour, WI - The 2005 Seymour Speedway schedule was released to public last week. This year’s schedule is packed with great events from start to finish. In an effort to ensure that the track is ready for racing, the Green flag is tentatively scheduled to fly for the first time on May 22nd.

There are numerous special events planned to take place throughout the season including Powder Puff racing, Mechanic race, and the infamous Big Wheel races. Also new this year is the early season start time, racing will begin at 5 pm in the month of May.

Race time will return to 6 pm the first week of June. The final point night for the Mods, Stocks, Street stocks and 4 cyl will be August 28 while the WISSOTA Late Models have their final points as part of the Sept. 4 special (Details to be announced).
