
Seymour Readies for June 6th Opener!

WI - N.E.W. DIRT has announced that their 2005 schedule to open
the new Seymour Speedway has been changed once again do to some delays in getting the
facility completed.
The full 5 division season opener has been pushed back one week, to Sunday, June 5 with
racing at 5PM.
However, the track will be opening this week, Sunday, May 29. The track will hold an
open practice and test session on the NEW 1/3 mile clay oval.
The track will be open for practice from 2 8 PM for any drivers and crews
looking to test out the new track and get ready for the opener on June 5th.
The pit will open at 1 PM. Members will be charge $5.00 and non-members $7.00 for the
practice.
It will also be the perfect chance to purchase memberships and get paperwork filled out
to avoid delays at the opener.
Fans can also get a first look at the new facility as the grandstand will be open FREE
during the day.
This should also be a bonus as drivers will have some knowledge of the new track to
make the opener even more exciting. |
