Phil Martzahl. Martzahl picked up his first career feature win.

Chris Lange set the pace in the IMCA Stock Car feature for the first 5 laps before Larry Karcz, Jr moved into the top spot followed by Darren Otto, Tony Schlei and Jamie Colwell. Schlei made the lower groove work as he moved alongside Karcz for a couple laps before taking over the lead on lap 11. Schlei maintained a couple length lead to the finish with Karcz running in second on the outside. Jamie Colwell was followed by brother Jesse next in line with Kyle Fredrick and Jeremy Christians rounding out the top six.

The win for Schlei, a rookie in the division, was his second of the season here.

Jasper Drengler took the lead in the Street Stock main at the start and set the pace for 3 laps before the tranny broke, turning the lead over to Phil Hiles. Hiles held the top spot for 2 laps before rookie driver, Todd Everard, pulled inside and took over the lead on lap 6. Everard was able to open a slight lead while David Hoerning and Jeremy Wiitala moved into second and third by the half way point.

Everard was hugging the inside line and Hoerning was tried both the outside and inside lines to find an advantage. Wiitala stayed outside right behind.

The final 10 laps went non stop and Everard did not let the pressure distract his concentrating on holding the lead and letting Hoerning beat him. Everard guided his car to his first career feature win with Hoerning and Wiitala still behind. Eric Arneson was fourth, Hiles fifth and Rod Solem sixth.

A.J. Diemel led the 18 car WISSOTA Late Model field and set the pace from the green, pulling away from the field leaving the battle for the runnerup spot. Todd Jensema, Terry Anvelink, Nick Anvelink and Jeremy Hedrick ran together for most of the race in a good battle for second. A lap 10 caution bunched the field, but Diemel again powered into the lead and drove to his first feature win of the season. Nick settled into the runner up spot and chased the leader to the finish. Terry and Hedrick continued the battle for third with Hedrick making a last lap pass for the spot at the line. Rod Snellenberger held off Pete Parker to complete the top six.

Shawn Kilgore took the lead for the first 2 laps of the IMCA Modified feature with Mike Mullen taking over and holding the lead through a series of cautions until Benji LaCrosse found his way to the front after a lap 5 restart. Todd Dart, making his first run of the season, started the race in the back row, but stayed out of trouble during the cautions and moved into the runner up spot on lap 6 followed by David Werbelow, Jay Matthias, Jerry Wilinski and Scott Boyea.

LaCrosse maintained the lead until a final caution on lap 16 when the field was bunched behind. Dart was still holding second with Werbelow, Matthias, Wilinski and Boyea right behind.

LaCrosse was able to run to his 4th feature win of the season with Dart taking home second. Matthias held off Wilinski for third with Boyea and Werbelow rounding out the top six.

Greg Dey and Ralph Liegeois each led a lap in the 4 Cylinder main before Brad Matuszck led the way to lap 6. Phil Martzahl found his way to the front 1 lap later and had to deal with Matuszck and then Tony Everard the rest of the way before picking up his first career feature win. Everard was second with D.J. Jorgensen taking third from Matuszck. Alan Gast was fifth and James VanDenBogart sixth.

Just a reminder that there will be NO racing this next Sunday, July 16, because of the Outagamie County Fair. Racing will return on July 23.
