Kids of all ages enjoyed some "Big Wheel" Racing before the auto racing began on Sunday evening.

Bob Schampers led the opening lap of the IMCA Stock Car main with Chaz Van Ooyen, Jr taking control on lap 2. Larry Karcz, Jr took the inside line into the top spot on lap 5. Karcz led the rest of the way, but a couple of cautions kept the field right behind. Van Ooyen, Shawn Wagner and Troy Jerovetz stayed with the leader for most of the race. Karcz was able to secure his second feature win of the season with Van Ooyen in second. Jesse Colwell caught Wagner on the final lap to take third. Tony Schlei and Jamie Suchocki rounded out the top six.

Jasper Drengler took off from the front row in the Street Stock main and built a huge lead before a caution just before mid way bunched the field with Bob Czarapata, Harley Simon, Bill Kelsey, Jeremy Wiitala and David Hoerning behind. Drengler was able to open another lead as the battle for second was going on behind.

Drengler looked to have the race in hand with a couple laps left until the right rear tire blew in turn three forcing him out of the contest.

Czarapata inherited the lead and held off Hoerning to win his first feature at Seymour since May 1, l994. Rookie, Todd Everard was third with Kelsey taking fourth. Paul White and Chaz Van Ooyen, Jr rounded out the top six.

Rod Snellenberger paced the first 4 laps of the Maplewood Shell/ Dedicated Systems WISSOTA Late Model feature with Tom Naeyaert taking command on lap 5. After a lap 8 caution, point leader, Tim Buhler took over the runner up spot and chased Naeyaert for the rest of the way. Naeyaert took his first checker here since August 22, 2004. Snellenberger held off Mike Stangl for third with Gregg Haney and A.J. Diemel rounding out the top six.

Art Siefert took off from the pole to take the lead in the Budweiser IMCA Modified feature. Siefert, a near 30 year veteran on local tracks was hounded by youngsters, Mike Mullen and David Werbelow, for most of the first half of the race. Scott Mullen, Jay Matthias and Jared Siefert made their way to the front pack by lap 10 and over the final laps, Siefert had 5 cars right behind. Scott Mullen moved into the runner up spot with 3 laps left and moved to the outside as the white appeared. Over the final lap, Mullen stayed outside and on the final turn, was able to power alongside Siefert and took the checker by a bumper at the line for his first feature win of the season. Art Siefert took second for his best finish in the mods here. Jared Siefert was able to take third with Matthias, Mike Mullen and Werbelow rounding out the top six.

The 4 Cylinders ran 2 features with Andy Kleczka taking the lead from Brian Johnson with 3 laps left in the first feature for his first feature win of the season.
