
Seymour Speedway Readies for 2006!

WI - Seymour, Special- N.E.W DIRT is putting
the final touches on their 2006 season schedule, with Sunday night,
May 7, tagged as the opening night. The club will be hosting a pair
of practice days before the opener.
The first will be on Sunday April 23. The day will start
with a car show at the track from 10 AM until 2 PM. After 2, the
attention will shift to track side with an open practice and test
session for anyone wishing to get their cars set up for the season.
The following week, Sunday April 30, there will be another practice
day from 10 AM til 4 PM.
There will be a pit fee for the practices set at $20 for car and
driver and $5.00 for anyone else entering the pit area. The
grandstand will be open free of charge.
The car show on the 23rd is open to anyone wishing to put their car
on display and is open free of charge.
The 2006 season begins on Sunday night, May 7. The weekly programs
will again feature 5 divisions on the fast 1/3 mile oval.
The WISSOTA Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, IMCA Stock
Cars and 4 Cylinders will run weekly with racing starting at 5PM.
The track was completely resurfaced last fall and work continues to
complete the huge remodeling project at the track started last
season.
This is the 23rd season that N.E.W. DIRT is operating the track
located at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds in Seymour. The track
