Check 4 Cylinder #22 Kevin Birr shadowed #121 Andy Kleczka late in their feature event. Kleczka held off all challengers to win his third feature of the season. Birr finished third, but refused a post race claim which moved the field up a spot.

The Tri County Heating IMCA Stock Cars took the track first with Brian Koch leading the opening lap before Doug Kropp took control with the field tight behind. Jay Matthias worked to the runner up spot on lap 4 and continued on the outside line to take the lead for one lap before dropping back with a soft left rear tire. Kropp reclaimed the top spot and opened a lead as the field fought for position behind.

Larry Karcz, Jr and Greg Gretz broke from the pack on lap 10 and started to close the gap on the leader. By lap 13, Karcz was setting up in the outside line and 2 laps later inched into the lead. Gretz was tucked right behind and the three made quite a run at the top spot. On lap 17, Karcz moved into sole possession with Gretz moving right behind. Several attempts were fought off with Karcz taking his first feature win of the season with Gretz a very close second. Kropp completed his best runoff the season in third but refused a claim following the non stop race which put new dad, Shawn Wagner into third. Point leader, Rod Snellenberger started the race in 19th and came through in 4th. Followed by Darren Otto and Koch.

Dan Rihm set the pace for the first 3 laps of the Street Stock main until David Hoerning used the inside route to take over the lead on lap 4. Two laps later, point leader, Harley Simon and Jeremy Wiitala moved behind the leader. Simon was also hooked on the outside and on lap 7, streaked by Hoerning for the lead entering turn 3. Simon started to open a lead as Hoerning and Wiitala battled for the runner up spot. It looked like another non stop event until a pit emergency stopped the race for crews to leave the infield.

Simon was in charge but the field now had an open shot at the lead with 5 laps left. Wiitala made a strong lunge pulling alongside the leader on the restart, leading lap 17, but Simon would not be denied and took the lead and held off Wiitala for his 5th feature win of the season. Wiitala and Hoerning were right behind with Rod Solem 4th. Derek Lecker and Bill Kelsey rounded out the top six.

Pete Parker started the Late Model main on the pole and quickly beat Terry Anvelink into the lead. Nick Anvelink and Troy Springborn followed right behind. A meeting with the back stretch wall by Cody Welch brought out the lone caution on lap 12 and erased Parkers huge lead. Terry and Nick Anvelink, Springborn, Tom Naeyaert and Justin Hirt were behind the leader for the restart. Both Anvelinks made a run at Parker on the restart, but after a couple laps, Parker was again in control and drove off with his 4th feature win of the season. Nick took second and Terry third with Springborn holding fourth. Naeyaert and Hirt rounded out the top six.

Kyle Kudick set the pace for the first 2 circuits of the Budweiser IMCA Modified main. Following a lap 2 restart, defending champion Benji LaCrosse took over the top spot followed by Tim Van De Hei. Kudick stayed in the lead mix as the front runners spread out leaving the bunch from 4th back. Sean Jerovetz, Chad Wilcox, Mike Mullen, Mike Wedelstadt, Jared Siefert and Brian Mullen. Van De Hei pressured the leader for the rest of the non stop race but settled for second as LaCrosse records his first feature win of the season here. Kudick takes his best rookie finish in third with Jerovetz, Wilcox and Wedelstadt in the top six.

A group of 24 started the Sound Check 4 Cylinder feature with Jessie Ness leading the opening lap before R.J. Liegeois and Kevin Birr moved by. Andy Kleczka moved into the runner up spot on lap 6 and by the mid point of the race, was in the lead. A couple of late race cautions kept the field bunched with Kleczka able to hold off all challenges to win his 3rd feature of the season. Chad Guyette came through to take the runner up spot followed by Birr, Ralph Liegeois, Jason Cornelius, point leader, Ian Lassanske and Tony Everard..

Birr refused a post race claim which moved the field up a spot.

Next Sunday, Victory Vinyl will be sponsoring the Kids Big Wheel Races which will be held behind the grandstand at 5:30. There will also be a Faster Pastor race held to close the nights activities.
